Lauren Weinzweig

Lauren practices in the areas of commercial and health care litigation, health care compliance and regulation, election law, and antitrust. She has successfully represented several health care entities and other organizations in a wide variety of actions including contract actions, business torts, election law, antitrust, negligent credentialing, and enforcement proceedings with Arizona's Department of Health Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Lauren is a coauthor of the 2004 AzHAA Consent and Health Information Resource Manual and regularly advises clients on issues involving patient consent to treatment.

  • Representing health care entities in enforcement actions with the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as health care providers in licensing actions before administrative panels
  • In the area of Arizona election law, serving as counsel to clients in election contests, including successful representation of the contestants in Hancock v. Bisnar et al., 212 Ariz. 344, 132 P.3d 283, 2006
